What customers say?

“ We love this place! Have been many times and the team, food, cocktails and wine are always brilliant! We especially love sitting outside in the summer watching the world go by whilst eating albondigas and having a glass of something chilled. It has a fun atmosphere and we’ll always choose it as our favourite place to eat in Petts Wood (and nearby!) ”

“ Me and my girlfriend often come here and are always super happy with the food and service from Laura and the team. We always recommend this place to our mates and they too become repeat diners… As big foodies we are really happy that somewhere so local does such amazing food, especially compared to most spots in London which charge double for a lesser quality product. We’ve also come for just drinks and is equally a nice relaxed spot for just that. Thank you! ”

“ Had another meal at Senor Tapas in Petts Wood Square last night and as usual it was absolutely amazing. Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff. The restaurant was very busy yet the service, managed superbly by the restaurant manager, was spot on and she creates a fun, happy atmosphere which made everything so enjoyable. Freddie, the chef, is wonderful too and was very happy to talk about aspects of our meal with us and made us feel very welcome indeed. We have just returned from Andalusia so can confirm just how authentic Senor Tapas is. Fabulous. ”

“ Visited over the weekend with friends. Originally booked table for 2, then we became 3, so we were givena high table. Not sure if that was the reason but we we timed, like at same point we were asked to leave or move to the bar to finish our drinks, because new customers were waiting. We had a bottle of good wine and bubbles,so thank you. If I have to be honest we were not impressed with the food at all, unfortunately cannot remember the names of the dishes, but can see from the photos we tried a few only. Nuts were my favourite. Service on other hand, was excellent, super friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was good. For me personally it's a place to have a drinks with some bites rather than place I would take my family for family dinner. Giving 5 starts for the service ”

“ I was already a big fan of this restaurant - the tapas is excellent - and was interested to try their Sunday roast. I went on the first day of this new menu and, quite simply, LOVED it! There were a few nibble type starters available - olives, padron peppers, almonds, bread. We had the sourdough bread - this came toasted with an alioli sauce - very tasty! The main course choices were beef, chicken, lamb cutlets or a vegan wellington. We had the chicken and lamb - both were served with roast potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy. All superbly seasoned and delicious! Good portion size too. We didn’t have desserts, but saw others tucking into cheesecake and churros. Next time! The staff were fantastically welcoming as always! Laura, kept saying words to the effect of “It’s our first day doing this…” - no need to justify anything Laura, you’ve already aced this! Pricing is well pitched - £19 - £21 per person for main course, depending on your choice of meat. Well done Laura, Danny and, of course, the brilliant Spanish chef, Freddy! Already booked to go back next week! ”

“ Definitely was better than we expected, having gone to Spain and had tapas was easy to see this was looking and tasting authentic. Food came out very fast, drinks were good the sangria was delicious. The only grievance we would have had was that the potatas bravas were a tad too salty. ”
